HISTORY

TORAYVINO™ Household Water Purifiers were developed based on our filtering technology used for medical devices. They feature sophisticated filteration media such as hollow fiber membrane filters as well as superior resins and other technologically advanced media. First launched in 1986, TORAYVINO™ filters have now become the most famous* water purifiers in Japan.
At Toray, we are working each day to develop TORAYVINO™ products that will offer even better performance, functionality, and design to the consumers.

2008 Pitcher type launched	PT301	Pitcher type water purifier with advanced performance which enable to remove 12 materials specified in the Japanese Industrial Standard for testing household water purifiers
2009	TORAYVINO™ Cassetty ™ MK304MX The model with 30% water saving function is launched. PT302 The pitcher type which fits snugly in the refrigerator door.
2011	PT502V	The pitcher type can be stored in any occasion, both vertically and horizontally.
2012	TORAYVINO™ Cassetty ™ MK205MX	The faucet mount type with washable body cover and cap, both of which can easily be detached is launched.
2013	PT304V The large capacity pitcher type with slimming designed which fits snugly in the refrigerator. TORAYVINO™ Torayshower RS51 The model is recommended by the Japan Atopic Dermatitis Patients Association.
2014	PTC.SVJ	The pitcher type filter cartridge with “time-saving filtration” is launched.

2016	MKC.SMX	The faucet mount filter cartridge with “time-saving / high removal performance” is launched.

2019	Torayvino™ RS53	Dechlorination shower head, which is simple and easy-to-use.
2020	MKC.SLX	MK Series “Long life & high flow rate & high removal” cartridge.
2021	MK206-2000B-EG	Launched MK206-2000B-EG. Obtained NSF for hollow fiber membrane module. Cumulative sales exceeded 130 million units. Widely loved in over 40 countries around the world. *According to 2021 Toray research including OEM
